This is modernized version of classis AK 47 (Kalashinkov). Modernization covers mainly manufacturing process - while weapon body of AK47 is milled from fully materials, AKM consists of stamping. Rifle is lighter and production is less complicated. This weapon is ranked among most widespread firearms in the world, produced quantity is estimated at one hundred millions pieces. Its qualities express mainly at War in Vietnam, where shows high resistance, extreme reliability and efficiency. Despite of relative obsolescence this rifle still has promising outlook.
